OBI FORIEGN WOLONSO 1
OBI FORIEGN WOLONSO 2
OUR STORY
The club was formed with the spirit of friendship and mutual understanding. It was timely and it was well received because of its founding principle of “United We Stand, Divided We Fall” embodied in its motto: Be Your Brother’s Keeper!
Wolonso Club was registered with Ojo LGA of Lagos State on 10th October, 2010 and later registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) as WOLONSO GREAT CLUB with RC No IT-177652 on April 5th, 2022.
On 4th September 2016, Wolonso Club inaugurated its first Patron in the person of Late Chief Nnamdi Ikeli Adimorah JP who later died on April 30th, 2023 in a fatal accident along Onitsha – Enugu Exp way.
Wolonso Club laid their Hall/Headquarter foundation on May 2018
Wolonso Club was imitated by some individuals by forming different clubs but none has been nearly successful like Wolonso Club. Since 2009, so many clubs have been formed and many were terminated because of their lack of friendly and brotherly manners. Wolonso Club’s continued success and growth is credited to its members for their Love, peace and above all “UNITY” invested in the club.
Since the initial formation, it is increasing and growing like a flood. In the year 2010 some members dispersed to different countries, and many went back to Nigeria living in different states in Nigeria. That made the club to have branches in Lagos and South East where some members are living.
